TFA teachers have been actively participating in workshops and training sessions. They also engage in regular demo sessions before introduction of the topics / concepts, inhouse training, external resource training and they also engage in ongoing Action Research within their own classes.

Each year the school HR Dept plans a training calendar for teachers.

Chhabra Ma’am

TFA team had a series of session on “Stress Management, relaxing poses and exercises for physical fitness” conducted by Mrs. Chhabra ma’am in the beginning of the new term (June). She discussed the importance of sitting in silence to relieve stress and meditating without thoughts and fear. She also had an interactive session on J. Krishnamurti’s – Be Your Own Teacher.

Mohit Tahiliani

Mohit Tahiliani is the founder of “Mind, Body & Soul. Mohit Tahiliani is a Life Coach / Law of Attraction Coach and an Inspirational Writer who writes Inspirational Blogs and Books on Law of Attraction. His 1st book – “Living the Secret” became International Best Seller in 2013. The workshop by Mr. Mohit Tahiliani was about Basic Law of Attraction Teachings and teachings about Power of our Sub-Conscious Mind.

Lata Iyer

The workshop by Ms. Lata Iyer was aimed at training teachers on Observational skills and Identification of gifted children & children with special needs (Slow Learners, Learning Disability etc.) in the classroom.

Shobhana Iyer

Demos are very important for effective implementation of the concepts in the classroom. The session was held by Shobhana Iyer and her team on how to plan and give an effective demo.

Mona Doshi & Minku Gosai

Phonics helps children learn the relationships between the letters of written language and the sounds of spoken language. The session on phonics, phonic games and strategies was held by Mona Doshi and Minku Gosai.

Nidhi Desai

Days are gone when children used to learn by chalk and blackboard method. Nidhi Desai’s session on fun based learning with activities was very participative and on give ideas to teachers on how to keep children engaged with lots of hands on experience, creativity and imagination.

Ulupi Patel

Concept clarity, understanding and application is very important. A session on Program of Inquiry was held by Ulupi Patel. She helped teachers to refresh their knowledge and understanding of doing a unit in depth. The teachers also prepared a unit on the topics given in a group and presented to all. These units further were guided to make changes and implement them into the classroom.

  • Mrs. Archana Parekh (Main Teacher) – Won District Level in the Handball Tournament and participated at State Level in Khel Mahakhumbh.
