“Funderstanding”- The word itself means understanding with Fun. Our TFAites love to teach their friends and parents, the concept that they have enjoyed learning on the Report Reading Day in front of their parents and friends. They take an active part in Funderstanding during report reading.
The morning sets the day and the assembly paves the way for our children to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality. We believe the morning assembly plays an incredible role to:
TFA children and teachers too actively take part in morning assemblies. Prayer, Kabirji’s Doha, shloka, Thought for the week, news, National Anthem and National song are the regular part of daily assemblies. Children as well as parents do take an active part in our school assemblies.
Children throughout the ages have enjoyed dressing up in costumes and engaging in dramatic role playing. As early childhood educators know, play is the work of the child, and children benefit cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally. Nursery showcased their talent along with their parents and dressed up as cartoon characters, Junior KG on World Festivals and Senior KG on Food & Beverages.
Every year Chinmaya Mission organize Geeta Chanting event in our school. Children of Jr.KG and Sr.KG took active part in this event. Children are given practice of reciting shlok’s in the school on every day basis. Jr. KG and Sr.KG children recited verses 1 to 12 from Chapter 18, of the Bhagwad Geeta. Vyom Parmar from Jr.KG bagged the 1st Position and Abhinav Khokade secured the 3rd Position.
The Father’s Day is celebrated with the objective of realizing and honouring the contribution of fathers. It is a day which celebrates the fatherhood, paternal bonds and the efforts of fathers towards their family and society. Mr. Vidya Sahu father of Tejas Sahu of Jr. KG and Mr. Jyot Shukla father of Pratham Shukla were invited for Father’s Day Celebration in the assembly. Children expressed gratitude to their fathers by making a Father’s Day Card.
Cooking helps children learn and practice some basic math concepts, build language skills and develop fine motor skills.
Senior KG and Junior Kg children enjoyed their day out at Phool Dwar Farm on 2nd February 2018 and 9th February 2018 respectively. They explored a lot of fun-filled activities like, rope climbing, tractor ride, playing on the sandpit equipments and many more.
Junior KG children visited Pizza Da Dhaba in the month of January. The field trip was planned for the ongoing project of community helpers. The objective was to gain understanding about Chef as a community helper. The children interacted and observed the role and responsibilities performed by the Chef in a restaurant. The children also learnt about the food safety rules and explored the recipe of baking a Pizza.
Nursery children went to Hypercity Mall and learnt about different fruits and vegetables. They had hands on experience, explored and observed the size, shape, colour and smell of fruits and vegetables. They all had a great time with a lot of learning.
