Teachers

TFA looks for the best teachers to ensure that the programme is implemented at the highest levels of quality and attainment. The team of teachers are qualified in ECCE/CD, with upgraded training in the latest trends in pre-school education and highly experienced. The teacher-student ratio is 1:15. This ensures that individualized teaching-learning happens & that every child’s unique attributes are clearly recognized and brought forth. Classroom interaction is guided by the Class Teacher with help from an Assistant teacher. They are also equipped to handle first aid requirement for small accidents. The team has expertise in the fields of music, dance, art, teaching-learning, counseling, special needs, sports & games. The TFA teachers have their own motto- ‘TFA : Team united For Action’. Teachers enact dramas and moral stories to inculcate the strength of our societal values & deep Indian ethos.

The primary role of TFA teachers is to:

• Respect the ideas, potential & values that each student brings to the school
• Build on individual creativity & experience
• Make every student feel valued, safe & comfortable
• Arrange the classroom & activities as an extension of home
• Promote stress-free learning even as they aim for the attainment of minimum levels of learning
• Include Parents as Partners in all areas of education
• Establish relationships based on trust
• Enjoy & nurture every child as an individual

The teachers exchange responsibilities across the various classes on an annual basis to ensure that everyone has a deep understanding of the entire 3-year TFA curriculum.

Dedicated maids & peons look after the overall needs of the students: toilet-needs, water, lunch, escort for field trips, bus service, etc.
