We celebrated Navratri with great joy and cheer. Children and teachers were dressed in the traditional costumes. Children and teachers danced on the tune of Garba and prayed to Goddess Amba for prosperity and good health.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2017

Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha – the God of new beginning and remover of obstacles. The auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with much fervor and joy. We did Ganesh sthapana in our premises and performed all the traditional rituals. Children dressed in traditional costumes. Children enacted on the story “How Ganesha got its head?” and also chanted Ganesh shlokas in Sanskrit.

Independence Day 2017

We celebrated the National festivals of India, 15th August the Indian Independence Day. All the children and teachers came together and celebrated this festival with great enthusiasm. Teachers did enactment on “How our country got freedom”. Children participated in different dances, songs etc. Our Sr.KG Children explained the importance of Independence Day. Children performed enthusiastically on the beats of various patriotic songs like, Sare jahan se accha…, We shall overcome (Hum honge kamyaab)’ which evoked their spirit of patriotism.

Janmashtami Celebration 2017
Celebrations promotes feeling of togetherness among children. We celebrated Janmashtami wherein children enacted on the story of The Birth of Lord Krishna. It was celebrated with great zeal! Children came dressed in, as Krishna and Radha and other colorful outfits. A special assembly was conducted to mark the birth of the deity. Children celebrated the occasion by singing and dancing with great joy. Later they enjoyed ‘Palana’ with little Laddoo Gopal!

Rakshabandhan 2017

We had a special assembly by teachers, where in teachers did enactment on the story of King Humayun and queen Karnavati. Children enjoyed watching their friends tying Rakhi to their brothers. They also learnt about our traditional value and a unique bond between brothers and sisters.

MaRRS Pre School Bee – 2016 -17

MARRS PRE SCHOOL BEE competition is for preschool students. Preschool Bee English is a competition in elementary English. The contest is to motivate the children to practice the English alphabet and also help to improve their cognitive skills.

Preschool Bee Math is elementary math and includes concepts like number sense, spatial sense, measurement, estimation, problem solving and patterns.

Preschool Science is every day science concepts and environmental science.

Tender Feet Academy children actively participated in the Marrs Spell Bee Competition in 2016 -17. In the Preliminary Round there were 96 participants in English, 107 in Math and 47 in Science. There were 60 participants in English, 60 in Math and 23 in Science at the Inter School Competition. At State Level Competition 18 participated in English, 26 in Math and 10 in Science and 2 children in English, 9 in Math and 3 in Science reached the National Level Competition. At the Nationals Hitanshsinh Solanki bagged the 3rd rank in Math, Mahi Patel 14th rank in English, Stuti Patel 14th rank in Math and Pratyusha Jangid 11th rank in Science.

International Yoga Day 2017

International Yoga Day 2017

We celebrated International Day of Yoga in the school premises. Special assembly was arranged in which the objectives of World Yoga Day were discussed with the children. Children performed different asana with the help of teachers. These asanas were taught to bring about holistic approach to health and well being among them. We believe if children are introduced to yoga at this early age it will have a long term benefit!

Parents Day 2017

There can be no tree without the roots. The same role is played by parents in every child’s life. Keeping this in mind, we celebrated Parent’s Week by inviting parents from different classes. Parents performed in assembly. They shared story, information, sang songs etc with children. The children were told about the importance of parents in our lives through drama by teachers. All children made thank you cards for their parents.

The Annual Picnic for Junior KG & Senior KG is an exciting trip that allows students to go on a day long fun-with-learning excursion with their teachers. The location is usually within an hour from the school. Apart from the beautifully selected locale, the students eat fun foods and engage in a host of leisure games & activities.
