Senior KG students celebrated 30th Annual Sports Day on 17th December with a lot of fun and frolic. To commemorate 75 years of progressive independent India, Senior KG took the theme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The Sports day began with the torch bearing ceremony followed by the Oath taking. The Sports day meet was declared with release of balloons by the chief guest. Thereafter, there was marvellous drill display by children followed by fun races, relay race, pyramid display and much more. The most exciting part of this day was the Tug-Of-War. At the end the winners were awarded with medals & certificates.
Junior KG students celebrated 30th Annual Sports Day on 17th December with a lot of enthusiasm on the theme – Circus. The Sports day began with the torch bearing ceremony followed by the Oath taking. There was colour display of drill by little TFAites followed by fun races, relay race, yogasana display and much more. The most exciting part of this day was the Parent’s race as they are true “Partners in Education”. The day ended by giving awards and certificates to the winners.
Children’s Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year as a tribute to India’s First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly known as Chacha Nehru. TFAites celebrated Children’s Day by playing different games and activities.
Talent Time is a non-competitive platform for the children, where they are given an opportunity to showcase their hidden/manifest talent in front of the audience. The parents/grandparents are also encouraged to participate with children. They perform in a form of drama, dance, song, mime etc. The theme is given based on the ongoing projects or current affairs in the country or World-wide.
Nursery children went to visit Spencer’s as a part of their project talk on fruits & vegetables. Teachers helped the students understand that vegetables and fruits are an important component of a healthy diet. Both vegetables and fruit contain essential nutrients that are important for their health, growth and development. Students were told the importance of each vegetable and fruit, its colour, texture, shape and size and its nutrient value.
