TFA celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi wherein children made Ganesha idols from clay. Children dramatized the story, significance behind Ganesha’s Elephant Head. Nursery & Junior KG performed dance and Senior KG sang songs.
Field trips are a fun-filled activity for children. Visits to religious places play an important role in the life of children. Children of Junior KG visited Nandalaya as a part of the Janmashtami celebration. The children and Teachers were served prasad.
Rakshabandhan: TFAites celebrated Rakshabandhan on 12th August’22. The name ‘Raksha Bandhan’ suggests ‘a bond of protection’. Children sang songs, made tri colour rakhi and Teachers dramatized the story of King Humayun & Karnavati.
Independence Day: India celebrated 75 years of Independence on August 15, 2022 with programmes organised at various educational institutions- schools, colleges, governmental and non-governmental institutions throughout the country. Tender Feet Academy too celebrated Independence day with full zeal. Flag was hoisted by the Head of the institution Respected Binita madam followed by cultural programme. Senior KG children participated enthusiastically and danced and sang patriotic songs.
Friends play a valuable role in our life. The friendship that blossoms in the tender years of Pre-School is a life-long bond. The International Friendship Day was celebrated in a unique way by our TFAites, who dedicated a day to friends and friendship. On Friday, 5th August 2022, our young TFAites celebrated Friendship day. Children came donned in the colour of Friendship, learnt the importance of the day and enjoyed the activities. Nursery and Junior KG children made greeting cards and were pretty excited to give it to their friends. Senior KG children sang a poem for their friends. They went home not only with the cards but also with lovely smiles.
Cooking is a great activity for preschoolers. Preschool cooking activities provide hands-on experiences and also develops their social skills, life skills, fine motor skills along with learning math and science. Nursery children prepared orange juice and enjoyed the taste.
Parents Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of July. TFAites celebrated it on 22nd of July. The children celebrated Parents Day and showed their appreciation towards parents and all the hard work they do for the family and imbibe values that bind the families. Nursery children did palm printing, Jr. KG did thumb printing and Sr. KG did finger printing and made beautiful cards for their parents. Parents of Hitanshi Patel of Nursery-E, Dhia Kapadia of Jr. KG-A & Rajvi Pandya of Sr.KG-G were invited for the Parents Day Celebration.
