Gross Motor Skills 2022-23

Acquiring motor skills is one of the crucial part of children’s development. Mastering both fine and gross motor skills are important for children’s growth and independence. Having good motor control helps children explore the world around them and also helps with their cognitive development. To enhance children’s gross and fine motor skills different activities like jumping from a height, book balancing, stitching, crawling under the table, walking on a zig zag line, lacing, beading, buttoning etc are planned and organized in our school’s curriculum. Children enjoy as well as enhance these skills on regular basis.

Field Trip to Sayaji Garden - 2022

Field trips are a fun-filled activity. Children of Junior KG visited the Sayaji Garden to explore nature and enjoyed the playground equipment. Playground equipment helps children develop their gross motor skills. Children enjoyed jumping, climbing, swinging, sliding and running outdoors.

International Yoga Day & World Music Day 2022

Yoga is like Music: The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.

Tender Feet Academy celebrated International Yoga Day and World Music Day with our active and enthusiastic parents of Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG. Jigesh Patel f/o Viyan Patel of Nursery-G played electronic keyboard and recited Kabirji’s doha and Shiva mantra. Teachers and children also sang with him. Junior Kg & Senior KG children rejuvenated themselves by doing yogasanas and om chanting with Khyati Khatri m/o Vanshi Khatri of Junior KG and Dhara Mehta m/o Dhruhi of Senior KG-A and Dhitya of Senior KG-B respectively.

Nursery visit to a joint family - 2022

“Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.”

To make our Nursery children aware about different types of family, we took them to visit a Joint family.

As we always say “Parents are partners in Education”, with their support we could make this field trip a memorable one. Grandparents, parents, uncle, aunt, cousins, siblings etc were the part of this amazing field trip. A big thank you to all the parents from Tender Feet Academy!

Mother’s day is a special day, for all children and mothers as; it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Nursery children did thumb printing and made a lovely flower vase, Jr. KG children did palm printing and made a Mother’s Day card & Sr. KG children made a beautiful block printed purse for the Mother’s Day.

Glimpses of TFA children’s first day at school 2022-23

The pandemic led to closure of schools and introduced a new way of learning. But now after 2 years of silent corridors and empty classrooms, it was a delight to welcome all of our tiny tots into the building.

It’s the beginning of new year and it’s time to embrace everything new — new friends, new teachers, new adventures and a new school year. Seeing new faces, walking in unfamiliar hallways, and being confined to a classroom, feeling homesick was a new adventure and experience for the TFAites. Despite all these, it was really quite wonderful to see shining little eyes peeking over the tops of masks having fun as they enter the school.

Graduation 2021-22

The Graduation Day ceremony is a happy and momentous occasion for the little ones as they gather to celebrate the culmination of their preschool years. 25th and 26th March 2022 marked the beginning of a more formal system of schooling in the life of the little TFAites, as the school celebrated Graduation Day. Tiny tots were dressed up with nice attires and performed different dances. Let’s revisit the glimpses of the programme.
