TFA views the transition from home to pre-primary school not as a separation, but as an extension of home, where there are opportunities to build new relationships. Parents are a child’s 1st teacher, the Class teacher the 2nd and finally, the class environment and world around, the 3rd. It is therefore essential to understand the role of parents as Partners in Education to fully and effectively bring out the best potential in every child. It requires consistency in approach, follow-up and feedback, based on an open-door policy of complete trust / faith & timely interaction.
